Three agents of a service station in Cotonou are prosecuted for embezzlement of funds after handling value tickets. According to Frisson radio, these three agents will all be tried on June 9 for breach of trust.

The three agents were presented this Thursday, May 27, 2021 to the public prosecutor at the court of first class of first instance of Cotonou. Two of them were placed under warrant of committal and the third prosecuted without warrant. The searches of their bag made it possible to find gas vouchers worth more than one (01) million FCFA at one of them, about 900 thousand FCFA in the bag of another. No petrol voucher was found at the home of the third, which is why he is being prosecuted without a warrant of committal while the first two are placed under a warrant of committal.
