As part of International Women's Day (IWD), the Delegation of the European Union (EU) sheds light on four Beninese women entrepreneurs. It was through the viewing, this Monday, March 8, 2021 at Canal Olympia in Cotonou, of a film on their professional career.

The Delegation of the European Union to Benin celebrated four inspiring women entrepreneurs working in 4 distinct fields (agri-food energy, digital and fashion).from various sectors of activity.
They are Mrs. Bertille Guèdègbé, promoter of Tillou juices, Ismène Ahamidé, founder of the company Ismast Energy Sarl, Doria Rey, Executive Director of "Go Medical" and Founder of the company Services Plus and Sarah Codjo, Founder of the brand Perlicious.
According to the ambassador of the European Union, Sylvia Hartleif 20% of ministers are women, 8.4% of MEPs and, at the local level, the situation is even less good. There are only 4% of local elected officials as women.
For her, "there is still a lot of work to be done so that we can talk about true equality between women and men around the world."
