The Central Office for the Repression of Cybercrime (OCRC) gives an alert on Sunday, August 7, 2022 about a new modus operandi that cybercriminals are developing. This alert was posted on his Facebook page to notify the following: “We received several new cases of Sextortion with a different modus operandi.”

According to the OCRC message, its malicious individuals who hide behind the networks to commit their fraud launch random video calls to gain access to their faces of the person concerned. This allows them to capture the face, to do a video montage with the victim's face. They take the opportunity to make videos by putting her in an intimate situation. These blows were often used to “pressure and extort money from her”, informed the Office.
