The sixth edition of the Business, Innovation and Sharing Fair of Banks and SMEs of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) is being held in Cotonou.

This year's edition, which ends on November 7, 2020 in the Beninese capital, focused  on "Intra-community trade and competitiveness of SMEs in the WAEMU, in a context of security and health crises (covid-19)". A 6th edition furnished with panels, various meetings, training and exhibition, and a company visit.

According to the participants, " this sixth Edition was an opportunity for businessmen and women, political leaders, experts, representatives of international organizations and financial partners who are increasingly attracted to it, to make business meetings, discovering investment opportunities or gaining experience ."

 The Salon des Banques et des PME has become the main annual meeting for investors, creators and managers of SMEs in the Community area. It is also an event that offers a framework for sharing experience with small and medium-sized enterprises and industries in WAEMU member countries, on their organizations, development strategies and difficulties.

This business meeting is entirely dedicated to the promotion of Micro Enterprise, Small Enterprise and Medium Enterprise and Industry through many visitors and entrepreneurship experts from the 8 WAEMU member countries and elsewhere.
