Coris Bank International will pay on July 6, 2020 to its shareholders, for the 2019 financial year, a total net dividend of 13.440 billion FCFA (20.160 million euros), announced the leaders of this banking institution based in Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso.

Compared to the 32 million shares that make up the bank's capital, this corresponds to a net dividend per share of 420 FCFA against 402 FCFA in 2018. This level of dividend represents 48% of the nominal share of 1000 FCFA against 45.9% for the 2018 financial year.

The net dividend results from the deduction of 12.5% on the gross dividend of 480 FCFA under the Tax on Income from Movable Capital (IRCM).

Coris Bank International achieved, at the end of the 2019 financial year, a profit after tax of 27.692 billion FCFA against 24.531 billion FCFA in 2018, an increase of 12.88%.

After taking into account the previous carry-over of CFAF 4.512 billion, the net result for the year to be distributed amounted to CFAF 32.204 billion. Of this amount, the Bank's Board of Directors intends to propose to the ordinary general meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 8, 2020 to allocate CFAF 4.153 billion to the special reserve, CFAF 15.360 billion to gross dividends and CFAF 830.762 million to the share fund. In the end, the postponement again will amount to 11.860 billion FCFA.

After this allocation, Coris Bank International's accounting equity amounted  to CFAF 124.772 billion at a rate of CFAF 32 billion for capital, CFAF 30.500 billion representing capital premiums, CFAF 25.602 billion special reserve, CFAF 24.809 billion optional reserve and CFAF 11.860 billion carried forward again.
