SouthBridge Investments (SBI) and New African Capital Partners (NACP) announce the launch of their joint venture: SBNA. It will be directed by Charles Kié. The joint venture wants to invest in the future of the continent by mobilizing "long-term capital" and focusing in particular on FinTech, financial sector integration, microfinance and mesofinance. It will act as a "permanent capital fund" with the mission of attracting investors with a long-term vision for Africa.
The SBNA will be led by Charles Kié, CEO and co-founder of New African Capital Partners, who during his professional career held senior positions at Citibank, Banque Atlantique, Ecobank, AFC (Africa Finance Corporation), before co-founding NACP in October 2018 with Paulo Gomes.

It should be noted that SBNA wants to focus on digitalization, inclusive finance and sustainable finance. It brings together experience, a real African know-how, with solid skills in the fields of finance, banking, new technologies.
