According to the Commissioner General of the Prize, Amos Beonaho, the edition aimed to salute the efforts made by the government and the private sector to ensure that Côte d'Ivoire emerges with its head held high from the health crisis related to Covid-19.

Faman Touré is therefore one of those personalities whose leadership has been praised by winning the Special Prize for the promotion of Doing Business. According to the jury, the president of the Chamber of Commerce masterfully managed his institution during the period of the crisis from which we are gradually emerging. Indeed, the CCI-Ci is a consular institution whose main mission is to support businesses. In this regard, it is very active in promoting and defending the interests of the private sector. This is why, under the leadership of its first manager, we saw it provide strong support to companies in this period of Covid-19. The institution has carried out several initiatives, including online training on telework for companies, capacity building workshops for SMEs, and donations to the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene as well as several other structures that needed help for a value of 100 million CFA francs. She also organized visits to companies impacted by the pandemic in Abidjan and in several regions of the country.

Faman Touré, who was also co-president of the ceremony, congratulated the organizers of the award and all the actors of the promotion of companies. He welcomed the quality of the relationship between his institution and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, which chairs the State-private sector consultation committee for the well-being of the business world.
