The directors of the company “Assurances Lafia-SA” have just selected Sidibé Zamilatou Cissé to take over the position of chairman of the board of directors. It was during the meeting of the members of the board of directors, held on August 10 last year. The agenda focused on the appointment of the chair of the board of directors. The procedures for designating a new managing director to head the company were also discussed. To do this, a call for applications will be launched in order to choose the best possible profile. Note that the company had been put under provisional administration following a dispute arising from a change in the chairman of the board of directors between the directors, who went to court. Finally, the government took responsibility by appointing Ly Taher Dravé to head the provisional administration by decision No. 0074-MEF-SG of 27 August 2020 before being confirmed by the Regional Insurance Control Commission (CRCA) pursuant to decision no. 022-D-CIMA-CRCA-PDT dated August 28, 2020. For Ly Taher Dravé, the aim was to correct the deficiencies in the share capital increase operation and to correct the other anomalies reported in the audit report of the National Directorate of the Treasury and Public Accounts.
