Silver prices continued their rose on Thursday, setting new all-time highs, while gold rose recorded a marked increase, in the wake of an upward trend observed on international markets, according to traders.

On the local market, silver has slightly progressed to an all-time high. The white metal settled at 6,900 Rupees per tola and Rs 5,915 per 10 grams, showing increases 78 rupees and 67 rupees respectively, according to the Jewellers Association and precious stones from all over Pakistan. This evolution confirms a sustained movement, driven by constant demand and a global context favorable.

Internationally, momentum is everything also positive. Global silver prices peaked at $66.28 per ounce, up around $1. At the same time, gold won 22 dollars, to trade at 4,334 dollars per ounce, strengthening its status as safe haven value.

In this context, gold prices on the domestic market increased significantly. The golden tola reached 455,762 Rupees, up 2,200 rupees, while the price of 10 grams rose established at 390,742 rupees, an increase of 1,800 rupees, according to official figures.

However, professionals in the sector Recall that the free market can charge prices different from those set by the association, depending on local conditions and the volumes exchanged. Despite these possible differences, the general trend remains clearly oriented to the rise for gold as well as for silver.
