A strategic change is taking place at the head of the Authority of the UMOA Financial Markets (AMF-UMOA). The Togolese Kossi Tenou, a A recognized figure in West African high finance, is appointed to lead the regulatory body for the regional financial market. This appointment, formalized this Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the end of an extraordinary session of the UMOA Council of Ministers, comes at a crucial juncture.

Kossi Tenou succeeds Badanam Patoki, who is called for new positions in the Togolese government as Minister of the Economy and Strategic Intelligence. Les Member States of the Union are actively seeking to optimize the mobilization of resources through the regional financial market.
