The Ivorian Guy M'Bengue, Director General of the Ivory Coast Export Promotion Agency (APEX-CI) was brilliantly re-elected President of the Network of Trade Promotion Organizations in the Uemoa Zone (abbreviated as ROPC -Uemoa).

It was Friday evening in a hotel in Abidjan, at the end of the Ordinary General Assembly of this network focused on the baptismal font in May 2017 in Dakar, Senegal. In the presence of the Commissioner of the UEMOA in charge of the regional market, Trade and Competition, Mr. Joãozinho Mendes, the directors of organizations for the promotion of trade and exports from the eight member countries of the UEMOA have acclaimed Mr. Guy M'Bengué, who brought the ROPC-UEMOA into another dimension by managing to quickly mobilize international partners.

Thanks to the interpersonal skills of the CEO of APEX-CI, ROPC-UEMOA was able to benefit from the institutional support of Business France, and the technical assistance of the Geneva International Trade Center (ITC), a joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations acting as a development partner for the export success of small businesses in developing countries. These two organizations were represented at the General Assembly of June 14, which welcomed the launch the day before, by the ROPC-UEMOA, of the initiative African talents abroad (TAI), intended to place young voluntary graduates from the Uemoa region in companies.
