On 28 and 29 November 2022, the Senegalese Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation, Oulimata Sarr, will participate in the AFRICA FINANCIAL INDUSTRY SUMMIT-AFIS. It is a platform that aims to foster the emergence of a modern, innovative and inclusive pan-African financial services sector. Around twenty ministers of economy and finance will be present.

Contributing to the transformation of African finance by bringing together the most influential actors in the sector around structuring topics for the profession, this is the mission of the AFRICA FINANCIAL INDUSTRY SUMMIT-AFIS. This is confirmed by the participation of personalities at various levels of the continent. Indeed, these are the largest financial groups and their leaders who will be in Lomé, including Sérgio Pimenta, IFC Regional Vice President for Africa, Amine Bouabid, Executive Director of Bank of Africa, Felix Edoh Kossi Amenounvé, CEO of BRVM, Ade Ayeyemi, Ecobank Group CEO, Aïda Diarra, Senior Vice President Sub-Saharan Africa, Serge Ekué, President of BOAD, Aïda Diarra, Senior Vice President Sub-Saharan Africa, VISA Benedict Oramah, President of Afreximbank, Paul Russo, CEO Neral, KCB Group, Kenya; Sitoyo Lopokoiyit, CEO of M-PESA Africa; Mareme Mbaye Ndiaye, CEO of Société Générale Cameroon; Nagoum Yamassoum, President of Cosumaf; Kuseni Dlamini, President of Massmart Holdings; Ashok Shah, CEO of APA Insurance; Jean-Kacou Diagou, CEO of NSI and many other actors from across Africa and around the world.

Similarly, around twenty ministers of economy and finance confirmed their participation in AFIS 2022. Nadia Fettah, Adama Coulibaly, Sani Yaya, Romuald Wadagni, Jean-Claude Kassi Brou, Ernest ADDISON, Godwin Emefiele, Kalyalya Denny H., John Rwangombwa and Harvesh Kumar Seegolam will come from Morocco, Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Benin, Ghana, Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Rwanda and Mauritius, respectively.
