According to The Daily, heads are beginning to fall in what is known as the imported sugar affair. 

Matar Lakh, Secretary General of the Ministry of Commerce, was simply sacked. 

That's not all. The director of internal trade, Ousmane Mbaye, was also dismissed for the same case.

Issa Wade, head of the  department in charge of the famous food import declarations (DIPA), has also fallen by the wayside.
