In Senegal, the Sunu Group is taking over Banque Internationale pour le Commerce et l'Industrie du Sénégal (BICIS) with 54.11% of the capital held by the BNP Paribas Group.

The BNP Paribas Group and the SUNU Group have concluded an agreement on the acquisition by the SUNU Group of 54.11% of the capital of BICIS. The implementation of this agreement is subject to obtaining the regulatory authorizations in force. The agreement is a continuation of the long-standing cooperation between the BNP Paribas Group and the SUNU Group in the field of bancassurance in sub-Saharan Africa. It will allow Sunu to perpetuate the links built by the BNP Paribas Group in Senegal. For its part, Sunu will enable BICIS to consolidate its development with a larger clientele and a range of financial services reinforced by the expertise of the SUNU Group.
