The Burkinabe State is planning a national cotton processing center in Bobo-Dioulasso. The Ministry in charge of industrial development has begun the validation of a study for the creation of this National Cotton Processing Center (CNATAC), to the tune of three billion CFA francs that will be located in Bobo-Dioulasso.

The establishment of a National Cotton Processing Center in the economic capital of Burkina Faso will be financed by Italy, to the tune of three billion CFA francs. It will be furnished with equipment that will allow craftsmen to have tools for quality production to meet the demand for textile products.
