African Media Agency (AMA), has obtained a Certificate of Excellence in the Press Relations category. It was during the 4th edition of the African SABRE Awards which took place on May 27, in Côte d'Ivoire.In April 2020, when Africa was hit by the coronavirus pandemic, the African Development Bank released a response facility of 10 billion $19 to contain COVID-19 and help regional member countries fight the pandemic. AMA was recognized by the jury for its work with the African Development Bank (AfDB), which highlighted their $10 billion response to the COVID-19 health crisis through an article broadcast on CNN and the Washington Post.

Indeed, the Bank has instructed AMA to promote the Ease of Response by disseminating it to the major media. AMA achieved this by developing a press relations campaign focused on a digital press conference with journalists from Africa and beyond, placing opinion pieces in resonance with the editorial line of the main media and disseminating press releases throughout the continent.
