Ocune d'Ivoire is hosting the 21st Session of the Combined General Assembly (end of mandate and elective) of the WAEMU Regional Consular Chamber (JRC-UEMOA), this Monday, May 31, in Radisson Blu. The Minister of Economy and Finance, Adama Coulibaly, welcomed the results achieved by the institution under the mandate of Abdoulaye Sory, President of CCR-UEMOA.

"By placing your mandate under the sign of innovation and modernization, you have quite simply, laid the foundations for the transformation of this Institution in order to adapt it and allow it to respond effectively to the challenges that are yours" congratulated the Minister before saluting the work done to support the companies of the L& rsquo;union in the fight against the health crisis.

For the new management team, the Minister insisted on the need to work to strengthen the governance of the institution and especially to continue the measures to reduce its lifestyle in order to strengthen its operational capacities to meet the challenges of vision 2030.

The private sector was reassured by the unwavering support of all the Governments of the States of the Community space and especially of the Ivorian government whose NDP 2021-2025 will be financed to the tune of 74% by the private sector.

The assessment of the JRC-UEMOA, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, has resulted in an amplifying growth dynamic, including the strengthening of governance, the adoption of a 2020-2030 strategic plan, the improvement of the institution's financial situation and the strengthening of the level of the subsidy from 1,500,000 FCFA to 5 million FCFA.
