The BRVM announces the closing of the period for submitting applications for the second edition of the "BRVM Fintech Innovation Challenge". Launched on July 2, 2019, the closing date for the period for receiving application files was set for July 31, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. as indicated in the Terms of Reference for the competition.

At the end of this period, the BRVM announces the receipt of twenty-one (21) application files, observation made by Maître Claude AHOBAUT, Commissioner of Justice in Abidjan. These files will be examined by a jury made up of specialists in order to preselect the projects identified as being the most innovative and capable of meeting real business challenges in the financial services sector.

At the end of this phase, the preselected project leaders will be invited to the interview phase for the presentation of these projects. The BRVM would like to thank all the candidates who responded to its call and wishes them every success. As a reminder, the candidates for this second edition were invited to propose projects related to Blockchain technology, Data analytics, innovations in banking and payment services, the securitization of assets and their digitization and finally the security of financial services.
