Yesterday, Thursday, April 25, 2024, was held in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin, the second edition of the Benin-China Investment Forum and a conference to promote the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and a conference to promote the 7th China International Import Exhibition (CIIE).

The second edition of the Benin-China Investment Forum aims to promote cooperation and trade relationships between the two countries. Over 300 participants attended the event. These include government officials, business representatives, and chambers of commerce from both countries. According to the director general of the Benin Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APIEX), Moubarak Soumanou, this business meeting between Beninese and Chinese economic operators offered a unique platform for businesses and investors, allowing to present investment opportunities in Benin, to present investment opportunities in Benin, to establish strategic partnerships and to develop joint projects. It is an opportunity for Chinese investors to explore new Beninese markets, to meet key players in the Beninese economic sector and to benefit from personalized support to make their investment projects in Benin a reality
