On Tuesday, April 16, the majority of the 210 deputies present in the National Assembly adopted the bill on the national debt policy and the management of public debt.

Le projet adopté mardi vise à define the legal and institutional framework for the national policy of endettement and the management of the debt of the State and its branches. During the implementation of the said project, it will be a question of limiting the risks associated with the instability of financial markets and the volatility of exchange rates, of contributing to the sustainability of public debt and to the sustainability of public finances, and of implementing a policy of endettement a real development tool.
