On the local market, gold prices rose enormously on Thursday while silver rose slightly.

Traders reported that the yellow metal gained Rs 4,600 and Rs 3,943, reaching Rs 232,400 per tola and Rs 199,245 per tola respectively and Rs 199,245 per 10 grams. The global market also saw bullion prices rise by $47 to close at $2,225 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium on the local market

The money was exchanged for Rs 2,600 per tola and Rs 2,229.08 for 10 grams, up Rs 20 and Rs 17.15, respectively. International silver prices were $25.66 per ounce, traders said
