American gold futures rose 0.1% to $2,044.20. Spot gold was stable at $2,035.78 per ounce at 0419 GMT. Gold is holding steady from month to month despite traders reducing their bets on three rate cuts by a quarter point in the United States for 2024, compared to five cuts a month ago

Spot silver rose 0.1% to $22.48 per ounce, platinum rose 0.4% to $882.24, and palladium jumped 1% to $937.56 per ounce.
