Judicial Police officers with maritime skills received training on cybercrime on Monday, November 27. This is a training course that aims to provide knowledge about all types of cybercrime-related crimes and to become familiar with digital investigation techniques

The training session, which will end on Friday, December 1, 2023, is the result of the collaboration between the National School of Cyber Security with a Regional Vocation (ENVR) and the International Maritime Security Institute (ISMI) as part of the SAFE PORT project, dedicated ^to port security and security. The objective of this initiative is to know and control cybercriminal infrastructures in the maritime environment. According to the Director of ENVR, Commissioner Papa Gueye, “the idea is to bring capital importance to current security challenges, which are essential conditions for stability. The objective of this bilateral project is to provide professional training for government officials, in the sub-region, in the field of cybersecurity, in order to strengthen their capacity in four (4) areas, including security and information, the fight against cybercrime, digital intelligence and cybersecurity governance
