John Wood Group PLC and Harbour Energy PLC signed a new strategic partnership on Monday, September 4, 2023. This agreement will allow them to provide engineering, maintenance, and other operational services.

The John Wood Group and Harbour had agreed to a framework agreement for services and associated contracts worth approximately $330 million and Harbour agreed to a framework agreement for services and associated contracts worth approximately $330 million. John Wood being an engineering and consulting firm based in Aberdeen, Scotland, will provide engineering, procurement and construction services, as well as operation and maintenance services, for “a number” of the London-based oil and gas company's offshore assets in the British North Sea. Harbour also has interests in Norway, Indonesia, Mexico, and Vietnam.

The partnership is signed for an initial five-year term, with five one-year extension options covering the assets operated by Harbour.
