With the aim of joining the African Trade Insurance (ACA), the Republic of Chad has signed a participation agreement with the Agency, in accordance with the membership conditions.

L' adhésion à l' Assurance du Commerce en Afrique (ACA) va aider le Tchad à maintenir le cap sur The ACA will help the country to stay on track with its priorities in the field of development, as set out in its Vision 2030 strategy, whose objective is to make Chad an emerging country by 2030. Once this participation agreement has been signed, the EIB will disburse Chad's own funds, thus fulfilling the country's accession conditions. In reality, the country is full of important natural resources, including gold and uranium. It should benefit from its status as an oil-exporting state.
