The Second Pan African Poultry Conference (CAP) will be held in Togo from 16 to 18 May 2023. It is co-organized by the Regional Center of Excellence in Avian Sciences (CERSA) and the World Poultry Science Association (WPSA) and will welcome more than 300 participants.

“Competitiveness and inclusiveness of the poultry value chain in Africa” is the theme planned for the two-day meeting. Indeed, participants will address the challenges of poultry production in Africa, the environment and production systems, nutrition and metabolism, reproduction and incubation, product quality, processing and health security, but also on the economics of production.

On occasion, strategies will be defined to improve the competitiveness of the sector on the continent. Noted that several actions are being taken by the government to boost poultry production in Togo.
