The National Communications Authority (NCA) announced on Monday, January 16, that it has approved the operation under which the transaction to acquire a 70% majority stake in the Telecel Group in Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited (Vodafone Ghana) is established after months of negotiations.

An authorization made public after reviewing a financial and technical proposal that was revised last December. According to the instance, the request did not meet the regulatory threshold for approval to be granted.
