On November 5, 2022, five alleged counterfeiters were apprehended and presented to the authorities of the Djourouf Al-Ahamar department, in the presence of the Pré ; and of the Achafi Issa Abbo department.

During an operation carried out by Adam's central commissioner, Adeli Djiki, individuals were arrested at the weekly market in Amdam. They are accused of having in their possession a sum of 2,500,000 FCFA in counterfeit currencies.
