The meeting is part of the strengthening of the cooperation between the World Bank and the Government of Chad in the energy sector. The exchanges focused on review and acceleration. of energy projects financed by the Bank, in particular the Project Increase and Access to Electricity in Chad (PAAET), which benefits from new financial arrangements to improve its impact and efficiency.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation ministerial, accompanied by representatives of the World Bank, was visited the Amboukna site, where a solar power plant is being built Photovoltaics with a capacity of 35 MWc, coupled to a storage system of 60 MWh of energy, as well as a 33/90 kV transformer station.

The minister emphasized that speed, the efficiency and quality of work remain a priority, in accordance at the guidelines of the highest authorities in the country. This project is a step advanced towards the desired energy transition for Chad.
