Despite several difficulties noted in reaching certain targets, the Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation Oulimata Sarr declared on Monday, November 28, 2022 in Dakar that the Senegalese government achieved “economic performance in 2021".

On the occasion of the technical validation workshop for the Joint Annual Review (RAC) 2021, organized by his department, Sarr intervened by appreciating the RAC 2021 report that will be presented to the President of the Republic. She welcomed its publication, which, according to the Minister, is a “participatory and inclusive approach”. She considered that “this process makes it possible to engage in constructive discussions on the results of the implementation of our economic policy during the year 2021”.

The RAC studied the results of the implementation of the economic policy of the Emerging Senegal Plan (PSE) focused on the structural transformation of the economy and growth, human capital, social protection, sustainable development, governance, institutions, peace and security. This result is published every year by the Senegalese Ministry of Economy, Planning and Cooperation.
