Côte d'Ivoire achieved a net profit of XOF 35.54
billion ($62.4 million) for the financial year ended December 31, 2025.
After depreciation allowances of XOF 1.49
billion ($2.6 million) and a tax charge of XOF 6.13 billion ($10.8
million), the subsidiary of the Moroccan group BMCE achieved a net profit of
XOF 35.54 billion ($62.4 million). This result marks the continuation of the
growth trend observed during the semester, where net profit reached
XOF 18.4 billion ($32.3 million), compared to XOF 17.6 billion ($30.9
million) for the same period in 2024. This annual figure places the
bank among the most profitable listed banks on the BRVM, Côte d'Ivoire's
contribution to the UEMOA regional stock exchange.
The board of directors proposes a gross dividend
of CFAF 27.02 billion ($47.5 million), with shareholders receiving a net dividend
of CFAF 594.5 per share with a nominal value of CFAF 1,000, after deduction of the 12%
withholding tax on income from securities. Payment is scheduled through
BOA Capital Securities starting May 6, 2026.
Regarding governance, shareholders will vote on the renewal of the 3-year term for 3 directors - Lala Moulaye Ezzedine, Amine Bouabid, and BMCE, represented by Zouhair Kaissi - all expiring at the 2028 AGM. The remuneration for the board of directors has been set at XOF 72.16 million ($126,700) per year starting January 1, 2026.
