The Ministry of Infrastructure proceeded on Tuesday 30 December 2025 at the handover of 623 post-harvest processing equipment to groups of women from the seven territorial poles. This donation is part of the framework of the Emergency Community Development Program (PUDC).

The equipment handover ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Infrastructure Déthié FALL in the presence of Mabouba DIAGNE, Minister of Agriculture. The aim is to replace work manual harassing women through efficient mechanized solutions. The 623 post-harvest processing equipment consists of 350 mills cereals, 91 huskers, 57 threshers, as well as oil presses and mixed dryers. This initiative has a total cost of 666 million CFA francs for its current phase falls within the framework of the economic empowerment of women and the valorization of local production.

In addition to this equipment delivery, the Minister has wanted to recall the systemic extent of the program.

As a reminder, since its launch, the PUDC has deployed 5,715 pieces of equipment in nearly 6,000 villages to alleviate the hardship of works.

The results of the first phase show that major structuring achievements in access to basic services.
