The government of Benin and the managers of the CANAL+ group signed the agreement to create the A+ Benin channel on Friday, November 18, 2022. It will be available on Digital Terrestrial Television (TNT) and on CANAL+ packages.

A+ Benin is the new popular channel that will be available and close to the population with entertainment and programs combining series, fiction, magazines, games and sports.

On the occasion of the signing of the agreement, the Beninese government was represented by the Minister of State in charge of the economy and finance, Romuald WADAGNI, and his colleague in charge of digital technology and digitalization, Aurélie Adam SOULE ZOUMAROU. For its part, the CANAL+ group was represented by David MIGNOT, Director General for Africa of CANAL+, the Director General of CANAL+'s thematic channels, Clémentine TUGENDHAT, and Yacine ALAO, Director General of CANAL+ Benin.
