Following a notable increase in October, where exports from Senegal reached 688.7 billion CFA francs, they have reality suffered a dramatic fall in November 2025. Their amount reached 323.6 billion FCFA, i.e. a decrease of 53.0%.

Senegal's exports are suffering a blow cold. The oil sector is in first place. In fact, during November, the country made a sale of only 45.5 billion FCFA in crude hydrocarbons, compared to 215.6 billion CFA francs for the month previous. This is a colossal fall of 170.1 billion CFA francs. For the time being, no justification has been given. Product sales refined petroleum products also fell, to 49.7 billion FCFA against 150.1 billion FCFA. This is a decrease of 100.4 billion CFA francs. Likewise, non-cash gold sales declined for reach 95.9 billion FCFA, compared to 145.5 billion FCFA.

In comparison with November 2024, exports are experiencing a decline of 28.5%. At the end of November 2025, their total was 5109.9 billion FCFA, compared to 3504.7 billion FCFA for same period in 2024. There is an increase of 45.8%.

With respect to imports, their amount was fell to 713.3 billion CFA francs, compared to 796.5 billion billion FCFA in October. This is a decrease of 10.5%, due to in particular to the reduction of acquisitions of refined petroleum products to abroad. However, this decrease was offset by the increase in imports of raw and refined sugars amounting to 14.5 billion FCFA.

At the end of November 2025, total imports reached 6734.3 billion FCFA, compared to 6439.0 billion FCFA for the same period in 2024. There was an increase of 4.6%.
