Daniel Karbownik has been appointed regional general manager of the French hotel group Accor in West and Central Africa.

Accor is a French hotel group that owns, manages and franchises hotels, resorts and vacation homes. Its West and Central Africa branch will now be headed by Daniel Karbownik.
The latter will also assume the management of the prestigious Sofitel Hotel Ivoire which, for the past seven years has been under the leadership of Thierry de Jaham who will now manage the group's assets in DR Congo.
Daniel Karbownik, who joined the group in 2010 after having held positions of high responsibility in the sector in Paris and Morocco, will be responsible for overseeing the development of all the brands of the French hotel giant in the Côte d' Ivory, in Senegal, Ghana, Benin, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia and Cape Verde.
