The bill establishing the finance law for the financial year 2023 was put to the vote of the transitional parliament in plenary session by the Malian government on December 1.

The 2023 draft state budget records payment appropriations in the amount of 2 895, 903 billion FCFA in the 2023 bill. This is higher than the amount of 2647.08 billion FCFA collected in the 2022 adjusted budget. We thus note an increase of 248.874 billion FCFA or a rate of 9.40%. It makes it possible to finance 137 programs and 3 endowments.
