The Group of African Development Bank and The United Kingdom government brought investors together in London international organizations and private sector leaders in order to stimulate a new faster phase of mobilizing private capital for development of Africa.

The first Capital Raising Day Private for Africa took place on 17 December 2025 at Lancaster House. She has brought together brought together more than 150 high-level decision makers from companies in private equity, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, companies insurance companies, philanthropic foundations, financial institutions of development and export credit agencies (ACEs). She scores a decisive transition from dialogue to action.

This high profile event was organized by the African Bank development in partnership with several British government institutions including the Department of Business foreign, Commonwealth and Development, UK Export Finance and British International Investment, reflecting a shared ambition to intensify private capital flows to African economies.
