Faced with the uncertainty caused by the health crisis, foreign investors have invested more money in Switzerland, while Swiss people have preferred to keep their capital in the country and have even tended to repatriate their assets. In the first half of the year, however, the Swiss National Bank sold 90 billion Swiss francs, its highest amount since 2012, to stem the appreciation of its currency.
