The authorities of Guinea-Bissau proceeded on Saturday Last December 27 at the end of the marketing campaign and 2025 cashew nut export to Bissau. On the occasion, it was announced that the country exported 252,000 tons of cashew nuts during the year 2025.

In remarks made during of the closing ceremony, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Jaimantino Có, attributed this result in particular to “the elimination of non-tariff barriers”, a measure that, in his opinion, facilitated the transport of cashew nuts from the interior of the country to the capital in sight of their export.
