The financing of BEAC will be in two installments. 40 billion FCFA in 2025 for immediate projects. And 80 billion FCFA in 2026 in order to maintain the impact. It is part of a current account facility bringing the total liquidity injected by BEAC to 240 billion CFA francs. This envelope is intended to improve the financial health of BDEAC and to expand its portfolio of projects, whether carried out by States or private actors
.The funds allocated will allow BDEAC to finance critical infrastructures (roads, energy, telecommunications); to support SMEs and industrialization, which create jobs, and to strengthen economic resilience in the face of external shocks.
It should be noted that this 120 billion FCFA agreement marks a major advance for CEMAC. It illustrates the determination of subregional institutions to pool their resources for inclusive growth
