Last Friday, the General Delegate for Rapid Entrepreneurship for Women and Youth (DER/FJ), Aïssatou Mbodji, received forty hydrosuction trucks intended to strengthen the operational capacities of members of the Association of Sanitation Actors in S& Senegal (AAAS), at pole 4 of the Autonomous Port of Dakar

The forty hydrosuction trucks were acquired thanks to financing of 2.4 billion FCFA, as part of a tripartite partnership between (DER/FJ), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the National Bank for Economic Development (BNDE). This provision of new vehicles is part of the implementation of the Project to Support the Renewal of the Fuel Truck Fleet (PARC)

According to the General Delegate, “this modern equipment, received on the eve of Grand Magal in Touba, is timely.” She believes that they will make it possible to relieve populations and improve their living environment, especially in the areas most exposed to the risk of flooding.
