The global market capitalization (combined equity and bond market) of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) recorded an increase of 42.076 billion FCFA. It was at the end of the trading session on Wednesday, August 6, 2025

This capitalization stood at 22,553.057 billion FCFA against 22,510.981 billion FCFA the day before. This increase is caused by the increase in the capitalization of the equity market. It has in fact increased by 41.847 billion, from 11,985.628 billion FCFA the day before to 12,027.475 billion FCFA on August 6, 2025. As for the capitalization of the bond market, it increased by 229 million, reaching 10,525.582 billion FCFA against 10,525.353 billion FCFA on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

The total value of transactions fell to 371.598 million FCFA against 875.712 million FCFA the day before.

The indices are in a mixed situation. The BRVM Composite index thus increased by 0.35% to 311.95 points against 310.86 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 30 index recorded an increase of 0.33% to 150.98 points against 150.48 points the day before. On the other hand, the BRVM Prestige index fell 0.05% to 128.94 points against 129.00 points previously.

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by SAFCA (plus 7.11% to 1,055 FCFA), ETI Togo (plus 6.67% at 16 FCFA), Benin National Lottery (plus 5.88% to 4,595 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.00% to 1,300 FCFA) and Vivo Energy Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.35% to 1,080 FCFA).

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied respectively by SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.45% to 560 FCFA), Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.82% to 540 FCFA), Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.32% to 11,250 FCFA) respectively, Orange Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.32% to 11,250 FCFA), Orange Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.06% to 1,400 FCFA) and International Bank for Industry and Commerce of Benin (minus 0.94%) at 5 250 FCFA)
