The British groups Sound Energy (SOU.L) and Getech Group (GTC.L) announce the upcoming creation of a joint venture dedicated to gas exploration in Morocco, following a vast prospecting study conducted jointly on the national territory.

This initiative is part of the strategic collaboration agreement signed in October 2024, and mainly aims at the exploration of natural hydrogen and helium, two resources with high potential in the context of the global energy transition.

This joint venture will be set up in accordance with the terms of the exploration collaboration agreement signed in October 2024, according to a statement released on Tuesday by Sound Energy, a specialist in energy transition.
