On Thursday December 18, 2025, Sanlam Togo officially adopted the name SanlaMallianz Togo. This change marks the culmination of national level, of the joint venture signed in September 2023 between the group South African Sanlam and Germany's Allianz. Announced at a conference by Press, this evolution is clearly part of a pan-African dynamic aimed at building a continental insurance champion.
Beyond the name, this transformation reflects a broadened ambition. The integration of the Togolese subsidiary within the SanlaMallianz network, present in more than 25 African countries, strengthens its regional scope. Concretely, for insured persons, existing contracts remain valid and the local teams remain in place, guaranteeing a smooth transition and without operational disruptions.
Thanks to the alliance of two leaders worldwide, SanlaMallianz Togo intends to consolidate its financial solidity and raise its service standards. The objective is now to offer solutions more efficient and innovative insurance solutions, adapted to the needs of individuals as well as businesses.
