management at 2.317 billion euros at the end of September, while its net inflow of
15.1 billion euros in the third quarter exceeded expectations. La
asset management subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole group, which will present its
new strategic plan on November 18, published a net income down from
22% over one year in the third quarter, due in particular to expenses of
restructuring.

reached a new peak at 6,875.16 points with an increase of 1.2%. The Nasdaq
Composite, rich in technological stocks, grew by 1.9% and
also set a new record, at 23,637.46 points.
Tech stocks have taken full advantage of the renewed appetite for
risk. Qualcomm jumped more than 11% after announcing a contract with
Saudi Arabia for its new AI chip, competing with Nvidia (+2.8%) and
AMD (+2.7%). Microsoft for its part advanced by 1.5% after a recommendation
favorable from a Guggenheim analyst, who believes that the software company will
take full advantage of AI with its software suites.
As the Fed starts its meeting of
Monetary policy for two days, Donald Trump said on Monday that he could
announce before the end of the year his choice to succeed the president of the
central bank, Jérôme Powell, whose term of office expires next May. The
American president said he was on track to make his choice out of five
finalists.

session. The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.2%, while the Hang Seng of
Hong Kong stock exchange lost 0.4%.

The greenback lost 0.6% against the currency
Japanese, at 151.95 yen. The euro gained 0.1%, to 1.1660 dollars, around 7:40am.
The November contract on
soft light crude (WTI) listed on Nymex fell by 9 cents, or 0.2%, to 61.20
dollars per barrel. The December North Sea Brent contract quoted
in London lost 7 cents, or 0.1%, to 65.55 dollars per barrel, around 7:40am.
