Coris Bank International Togo now asserts itself as shareholder of the Regional Bank for Mortgage Refinancing of the UEMOA (CRRH-UEMOA). This major operation was formalized with the entry Simultaneous three new subsidiaries of the Coris Group: those in Togo, Benin and Senegal.
This strategic move brings the number of entities to five. of the Coris Group present in the capital of CRRH-UEMOA, joining the subsidiaries from Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire already established. With this take of multinational participation, the Coris Group now holds 3.5% of capital of the institution, propelling it to the rank of sixth banking group of the Union to integrate this key structure of regional finance.
The CRRH-UEMOA is thus increasing its strike force, counting on now a total of 64 shareholder commercial banks divided into eight member countries, alongside major institutional partners such as the BOAD, IFC, BIDC and Shelter Afrique.
According to CRRH-UEMOA, the integration of Coris Bank International Togo is not just a simple financial transaction, but a powerful lever designed to strengthen the bank's refinancing capacity Togolese in the ultra-requested mortgage segment.
The historic partnership between CRRH-UEMOA and the Group Coris is already productive, having supported the provision of housing loans in several countries in the zone since 2016.
Created in 2010, the regional institution has already demonstrated its impact by mobilizing more than 475 billion FCFA and financing nearly 100,000 households. For Coris Bank International Togo, this Participation provides direct access to refinancing instruments competitive, crucial to support financial inclusion and to expand significantly its mortgage offer in Togo.
