Agri-Fintech Tingo International Holdings operations were launched in Ghana with the establishment of a subsidiary Tingo Mobile Ghana Ltd. Agri-Fintech Tingo has announced the signing of a commercial agreement with the Kingdom of Ashanti through the Ashanti Kingdom Investment Trust.

The Ashanti Kingdom Investment Trust has committed under the terms of the commercial agreement to register a minimum of 2 million new members with de Tingo within 120 days of signature. A company press release mentioned the aim of this agreement is to increase these registrations to at least 4 million members.

In partnership with Visa, Tingo Mobile Ghana has deployed its Nwassa marketplace platform and has planned to launch the TingoPay SuperApp application in the coming weeks, to include payment services.
