Following the measures recently taken by the government, in order to meet the most urgent needs of the population, Togo's deputies adopted on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at L& Rsquo; unanimity, the draft bill on amending finances, fiscal year 2022.

The 2022 Amending Finance Act is projected to increase by 5.4%, or 1,779.2 billion CFA francs in the initial budget law against 1,875.8 billion CFA francs in expenditure and revenue. Indeed, promulgated on December 31, 2021, the revision of the law, initially fiscal year 2022, is made necessary by the evolution of the international and national socio-economic and financial situation.

Moreover, this law is justified by the need to take into account new expenses in order to meet, in particular, security requirements and social spending, which have & increased to protect the purchasing power of the most vulnerable households, as well as the readjustment of certain expenses following regular monitoring of their level of implementation and evaluation at the end of August 2022.
