On September 19, 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya, the pan-African housing finance institution, Shelter Afrique, approved a commercial loan of $18.5 million to the company a real estate development company called Maison Super Développement (MSD), based in Katanga, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Three projects are planned within this framework. These are the Jumbo office building project in Kolwezi, the Alilac project in Lubumbashi and the Munua housing project in Lubumbashi. These projects are due to end in 2022, 2023 and 2024 respectively. This is to make a significant contribution to commercial and residential real estate in the areas concerned.
