On Monday, September 19, 2022 took place in the conference room of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin (CCI Benin) in Cotonou the second ordinary session of the Consular Assembly of the year 2022 of the CCI Benin. A session that was opened by the Minister of Industry and Trade Shadiya Assouman, in the presence of the President of the CCI Benin, Arnauld Akakpo.

The elected consular officials of the CCI Benin met at the headquarters of the institution in Cotonou on Monday, September 19. At this session, they focused on the review and adoption of the budget of the institution. This was officially opened by the Minister of Industry and Trade Shadiya Assouman. According to the President of the CCI Benin, the second ordinary session of the Consular Assembly of the year 2022 is held in a context where the government's economic outlook announces a growth rate of 7% for the year 2023 despite the consequences of the war in Ukraine and the galloping inflation.
